Our second official CDr release, Contraktor's 'Eugenic Ambassador'. (Originally released June 11, 2015)


As with most Contraktor material this is the first official non-digital release of this album.


Heavy on vocals with only two instrumentals and an average track time of 4 minutes - this is Jonny's attempt at hybridizing the structure of pop with power electronics and harsh noise. The album blends jazz, showtunes, pop and tribal influences with harsh electronics and industrial abstraction.

This marks the first time these digital-only releases have seen the light of day.


Existential lyricism focused on the anger and pain of being birthed, raised in this world and forced to accept your surroundings and family. Combined with experimental, guitar-driven power electronics this release is sure to depress you to the core.

Big Pharma is my brainchild, my love, my devotion to not only experimental/outsider music but under-appreciated midwest music in general.

Big Pharma is a deep love for the often over-looked music scene that exists within the Kansas/Missouri/Nebraska/Oklahoma area. There's more to our geographic area than meets the eye. 

With the exponential growth of social networking technology my hope is to bring to the surface the rich culture that has existed within our borders for decades. 

Do not be dismayed. Although my dedication is to midwest experimental artists I am looking to release all artists within the musical and geographic spectrum. Big Pharma will say 'no' to no-one.

We will be offering limited run AND continual run pro-CDrs, professional AND handmade cassettes, 8tracks, Lathe Cuts, anti-formats as well as bootleg releases of over-looked underground gems. There will also be a continual 'recycled' series in homage to the great RRR Recycled series of yesteryear.

We can't promise you high-quality fame and fortune, but we can promise unconditional love and a safe environment for independent artists.

I am not looking to step on anyone's toes. I only want to work with, cooperate with and further any and all existing labels and musicians.
